The Association of Mountain Biking hosts Enjoy Sarajevo Biking Tour to Trebevic Mt. on Saturday, May 18, 2013. All interested gather at 9 a.m. at Vilsonovo setaliste Promenade (Vilsonovo setaliste – Vraca – Trebevic Mt. – Brus Peak). In addition to a bicycle ride, riders will participate in the Let’s Do It - World Cleanup 2013 Waste Cleaning Action.

The 7th Days of Sarajevo in Belgrade take place from 13 to 15 May 2013. This year's festival focuses on children and their childhood spent in Sarajevo under siege, with even more entertainment events planned compared to previous years.
03.05.2013 - Old-timers in Sarajevo
International Old-timers Show takes place on 4 and 5 May 2013 in Sarajevo featuring over 50 old-timer samples from Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina including several old cars with wooden wheels. Selection of the most interesting old timer will be held at the National Theatre Plateau.
03.05.2013 - Sarajevo Music Nights
Sarajevo Music Nights take place from 7 to 11 May 2013 at several locations in Sarajevo (Army Hall/Dom oruzanih snaga BiH, St. Joseph’s Church at Marijin Dvor and the National Theatre). The closing ceremony features famous Carl Orff's Carmina Burana performed by the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra and three choirs (Obilic Choir, Sarajevo National Theatre's Opera Choir and Cantabile Children's Choir).
03.05.2013 - 5th European Film Week
The Meeting Point Cinema hosts the 5th European Film Week from 6 to 16 May 2013, featuring eleven films from eleven European countries. All screenings start at 20 p.m. and are in local and English subtitles. Free entry.

Stari Grad Municipality has set up a wireless internet covering the area of the Bascarsija Square (Old Town). In addition to wireless internet, all users will be able to use home page with basic (service) information and welcoming note of the Stari Grad Municipality.
12.04.2013 - International Book Fair and Book Biennale
The 25th International Book Fair and 12th Book Biennale take place from 17 – 22 April 2013 at the Skenderija Centre. The Fair gathers numerous exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and regional countries. This year’s edition features the University Fair whereby every faculty will present its programme.

Goethe Institute B&H hosts the German Film Week showing five films from 11 to 15 April 2013 at the Art Cinema Kriterion in Sarajevo. The event takes place in several cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina. All screenings start at 20 p.m.

Cultural and Tourism Office of the Turkish Embassy hosts the 5th Turkish Film Festival from 13 to 18 April 2013 at the Meeting Point Cinema in Sarajevo. All screenings start at 20 p.m.
06.04.2013 - City of Sarajevo Marks Its Day
The 6th April, City of Sarajevo Day, takes place at several different locations in Sarajevo featuring various interesting cultural and entertainment events. This year's 6th April Award goes to Edin Dzeko (individual), famous national football team member, and to the SOS Children's Village of B&H (collective).
04.04.2013 - Memory Module 2013
Art Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosts the Opening Ceremony of the MESS International Theatre Festival’s Memory Module 2013. The opening features an exhibition of Milomir Kovacevic Strasni on April 6, 2013. The event is dedicated to the siege of Sarajevo portrayed through different forms of art – exhibitions, theatre plays and screenings. The event is open until May 9, 2013.

Sarajevo International Guitar Festival 2013 takes place from 4 to 8 April 2013 in Sarajevo. Event features concerts performed by eminent guitar players, educational guitar workshops as well as a competition.

The International Tourism and Hospitality Fair “Tourism Days” takes place from 27 to 29 March 2013 at the Skenderija Centre. In addition to this tourist market, the Skenderija Centre will host several other events: International Hotel, Hospitality and Catering Equipment and Industry Fair, Coffee Fair “Sarajevo Espresso” and the International Competition of Tourist and Catering High School Students.
26.02.2013 - Organic Sarajevo 2013
The 2nd International Organic Production and Eco Tourism Fair “Organic Sarajevo 2013” takes place from 26 February to 2 March 2013 at the Trg djece Sarajeva Square. The fair gathers 58 exhibitors from 9 countries to present organic production, gastro delicacies, souvenirs, crafts and eco tourism. The fair will last until 2nd March.
21.02.2013 - Red Bull Jump&Freeze 2013
Red Bull Jump & Freeze 2013 takes place on Saturday, Feb 23, on the Bjelasnica Mt. (Babin Dol). This all-about-fun competition requests funny costumes and creative winter “vehicles” that bring participants down the trail into a freezing pool.. The event includes entertainment program as well. Special bus lines departing from National Museum Station are available on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. Buses depart from Bjelasnica at 7.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.
15.02.2013 - Student Visit to Bjelasnica Mt.
Student Parliament of the University of Sarajevo hosts the 2nd Student Visit to Bjelasnica Mt. on 15 February 2013. Free ski passes, free lunch and tea and a plenty of entertainment and competition activities including show sculptures making, sledging competition, snow football, snowball fight between different faculties, etc.
15.02.2013 - Managers' Skiing Competition
The 10th International Managers' Skiing Competition takes place on 16 February 2012 on Bjelasnica Mt. This year’s edition gathers 70 competitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Austria, Slovenia, Serbia and Germany. The event features two grand-slalom races: the first race starting at 11 a.m., and the second at 1 p.m. The closing and prize awarding ceremony takes place at 3 p.m.

The Snow Sledge Race hosted by Mountain Club „Trebevic“ takes place on Sunday, 10 Feb 2013 at 11 a.m. at Trebevic Mt. Everybody can compete and enjoy good music and barbecue planned for the event.
04.02.2013 - Art of Touch
29th International Festival Sarajevo – Sarajevo Winter takes place from 7 February to 21 March under the motto “Art of Touch”. The festival takes place at several locations in the city including events such as exhibitions, music, dance, etc. Silver Flake Award will be given to the best performances.
29.01.2013 - Davis Cup 2013 First Round
Bosnia and Herzegovina hosts the first round of the Davis Cup Bosnia and Herzegovina – Luxembourg tie from 1 to 3 February 2013 at the Mojmilo Sports Hall, Sarajevo. This is second time Bosnia and Herzegovina hosts the Davis Cup event, the largest annual sports event in the world with 130 countries taking part this year. Should the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina win this tie, it would mean another tie at home against Hungarian or Moldavian team. Entry to all matches of the tie is free of charge.
16.01.2013 - Ice Skating Rink on Bjelasnica Mt.
From January 17th, 2013 Babin dol on Bjelasnica Mt. will be added another winter amenity – a 500 sq m ice rink (60 skaters) which will remain open until the end of March. Skating fee is 5 KM per session.
28.12.2012 - Bus to Jahorina Mt.
The 2nd edition of the Coca Cola Sarajevo Holiday Market again offers the public bus line from Sarajevo to Jahorina from 28 Dec 2012 to 20 Jan 2013. The bus runs daily at 8.30 and 11 a.m. from Sarajevo (Dom Armije – Holiday Market venue), and 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Jahorina (Termag Hotel). Single bus ticket costs 7 KM, round ticket costs 10 KM.
25.12.2012 - New Year's Eve Celebration
The New Year's Eve Celebration takes place on Trg djece Sarajeva Square. The celebration starts at 8 p.m. with DJs and The Blavors, Atentat, Skroz and Zoster bands. After the New Year's Fireworks visitors will be entertained by the Regina Band. The celebration is organized by the City of Sarajevo, four city municipalities, Canton Sarajevo and the Tourism Association of Canton Sarajevo.

Winter Tourist Season 2012/2013 opens on Saturday, 22 December 2012 on Babin do, Bjelasnica Mt. Ski trails and snow conditions are ideal and the entertainment program prepared by the ZOI '84 Organization (Winter Olympics’ Organization 84) includes free skiing (day and night), as well as free food and beverages.

Official Winter Season 2012/2013 Opening takes place on 22 Dec 2012 at the Bjelasnica Mt. (Babin Do). However, with adequate snow cover and other skiing conditions, Bjelasnica, Igman and Jahorina mountains are already available for skiing.

Skenderija Centre hosts the Healthy Food 2012 Salon from 12 to 24 December 2012. The event features local cuisine products, bee products, fruits and vegetables, medicinal herbs, cosmetics with organic ingredients, etc.
12.12.2012 - Winter Book Fair
Winter Book Fair hosted by TKD Sahinpasic takes place from 12 to 24 December 2012 at the Collegium Artisticum Gallery, Skenderija Centre. This year’s fair gathers over 150 publishers from all over the world presented at 62 stands. Visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Sunday. Entry is free of charge.
11.12.2012 - Public Transportation to Bjelasnica Mountain
GRAS Public Transportation initiated bus transportation to Bjelasnica Mt. on weekends and public holidays. The bus runs from Franje Rackog Street at 9.00 a.m., Ilidza at 9.20 and departs from Bjelasnica Mt. at 3.30 p.m. During a school break the bus will run on daily basis. Single adults’ ticket fare is 4.30 KM, for children 3.20 KM. Round ticket for adults costs 7.40 KM, i.e. 5.30 KM for children.
11.12.2012 - European Youth Olympic Winter Festival
The European Olympic Committee's General Assembly held in Rome presented Sarajevo and East Sarajevo as the host of the EYOWF 2017 (European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2017). The festival will gather 1500 participants from 49 countries who will compete in alpine skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, hockey, figure and speed skating.

27.11.2012 - Statehood Day Exhibition
The 65th Exhibition of the Association of Artists (ULU BiH) hosted on the occasion of the Statehood Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina held on 25th of November takes place at the Collegium Artisticum Gallery in Sarajevo. The exhibition displaying 170 works is open to visitors Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The exhibition remains open until 4th of December 2012.

The Association for Creative and Sustainable Development „Asocijacija kreativaca“ hosts the Open Air Lucky Market with display of local hand-made crafts and unique gifts on Saturday, November 17, at the Trg Djece Sarajeva Square (BBI Shopping Centre Plateau). The autumn edition of the Lucky Market is held under the motto „Everyday is Your Chance to Make This City a Little Better“.
15.11.2012 - Figure Skating Season Begins
The figure skating season 2012/2013 opens on Friday, 16 November, 2012 at the Zetra Olympic Hall. In addition to charged skating, the City Authorities provided public free of charge hours for children and youth. The Winter Olympics Organization “ZOI’84” will organize FIT & FUN ZOI’84 figure skating school for beginners.
09.11.2012 - Days of Comedy
The Cultural Centre “Sarajevo” hosts the 16th Days of Comedy Festival “Smijeh je lijek” (Laughter is a Medicine) from 13 to 17 November 2012. Comedy theatre plays will be performed by some of the most eminent local and regional actors and theatre groups including Zijah Sokolovic, Rajvosa Group, Pedja Suskarevic from Podgorica, Palilula Cultural Association from Belgrade, Igor Skvarica & Adi Hrustemovic from SARTR Theatre. Entry to each play costs 10 KM.
08.11.2012 - Sarajevo Gastronomy Festival
The 1st International Sarajevo Gastronomy Festival “Bosanski dukat” takes place from 7 to 10 November 2012. The festival is organized by the Gastro kutak Association. The event features over 70 competitors from B&H, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy and Azerbaijan with presentation of wines, delicacies and authentic Middle East cuisine.
01.11.2012 - Days of Swedish Film
Swedish Embassy in B&H hosts the Days of Swedish Film from 1 to 7 November 2012 at the Multiplex Cinema City. All films (released in 2010 and 2011) will be screened at 6 p.m. free of charge.
30.10.2012 - SOS Design Festival 2012
SOS Design Festival 2012 is an educational and exhibitory event aiming at promotion of young designers as well as the design in general through workshops, lectures and exhibitions. The event is organized by graphic and product design students from the Academy of Fine Arts. The event takes place from 31 October to 4 November 2012 at several locations (Academy of Fine Arts, Meeting Point Cinema, Art kino Kriterion Cinema and the Art Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
25.10.2012 - Jazz Fest Sarajevo 2012
The 16th International Jazz Fest Sarajevo takes place from 30 October to 4 November 2012 at three different venues. In addition to numerous concerts performed by eminent musicians, the festival will feature kid’s program traditionally held on the last day of the event.

The Embassy of Spain in Bosnia and Herzegovina organizes the 11th Spanish Cinema Cycle from 18 to 23 October 2012 at the Meeting Point Cinema. Entry to all films to be screened at 8 p.m. is free of charge. Films are subtitled in English and local languages.

Kinoteka BiH in collaboration with the Slovenian Embassy hosts the Days of Slovenian Film from 19 to 23 October 2012. Each film is subtitled in local languages and will be shown at 7 p.m. Entry to all projections is free of charge.

The Horticulture Festival 2012 takes place from 10 to 12 October 2012 at the Skenderija Centre Plateau. The Festival gathers different exhibitors who support eco-friendly life style and will include display of flower, garden, seed, medicinal herbs, honey and similar products. The festival is open for visits from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Embassy of Brazil in Sarajevo and the Obala Art Centre host the Days of Contemporary Brazilian Cinema from 11 to 17 October 2012 at the Meeting Point Cinema in Sarajevo. The event will feature 7 contemporary award-winning films. Entry to all screenings is free of charge.

The 4th Sarajevo Green Design Festival takes place from 27 – 30 September 2012 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Sarajevo. The festival aims at introducing green technology (eco) and products into production industry in order to increase local industry competitiveness. Art Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after being closed for a year, opens its doors again on September 2, 2012 with the Swiss Positions Exhibition. The theme of the exhibition is modern Swiss architecture portrayed in photos. The exhibition remains open until September 14, 2012.

MTBA Bicycle Club and the Bicycle Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosts the Bicycle Race „Salcano MTB Cup 2012“ on Sunday, August 26th, 2012 atVliko polje on Igman Mt. The race is scored and organized according to UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) rules.
22.08.2012 - Paragliding Championship on Bjelasnica Mt
Bosnia and Herzegovina hosts the Pre-World Championship in Paragliding Accuracy from 23 – 26 August on Bjelasnica Mt (start at Trosjed, finishing line at Babin do). The event gathers a hundred competitors from all over the world.
17.08.2012 - Newly Built Bridge
The newly built bridge connecting the Academy of Fine Arts and Radiceva Street opens on 22nd August 2012. The bridge is 38 meters long and 4 to 7 meters wide. It is made of steel with glass fencing.
10.08.2012 - Open RTC Barcelona 1899 – Sarajevo 2012
The 16th Open RTC Barcelona 1899 Junior Tournament (Memorial to Namik Terzimehic & Juan Antonio Samaranch) takes place from 12 to 18 August 2012 at the courts of the Head Tennis Academy in Donji Hotonj, Vogosca. The Tournament is organized by the Tenis Pro Club and the Spanish Royal Tennis Club “Barcelona”. It is a 16&U Tennis Europe Tournament with participants coming from all over Europe, the United States, Australia and Brazil.

05.07.2012 - Bicycle Race „Das ist Valter“
Horizont Association hosts the 5th International Bicycle Race through Narrow City Streets „Das ist Valter“ on 7 and 8 July 2012. This year's race takes place in the old part of town, Vratnik. Winner will be awarded with Valter Prize.
05.07.2012 - 1st Sarajevo Rock Festival
Rock and Jazz Club „Underground“ hosts the 1st Sarajevo Rock Festival from 6 to 14 July 2012. The Festival features bands from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia, as well as black & white movie projections, stand-up performances, rock music and comics workshops.

The Bascarsija Nights Festival traditionally opens with the Viennese Concert performed by the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra on July 1st, 2012 at the main stage (Town Hall Central Stage). The 17th Bascarsija Nights festival takes place from 1 to 31 July 2012. The program features 47 cultural events to be held at several different locations. Admission to most events is free of charge.
26.06.2012 - Sarajevo Film Festival
18th Sarajevo Film Festival, the most popular film festival in the region, takes place from 6 to 14 July 2012. Thirteen festival programs, as anticipated, will be visited by over a hundred thousand visitors. Srce Sarajeva (Heath of Sarajevo) Competition Program features 9 regional titles. Honorary Heart of Sarajevo, awarded every year, in this year’s Festival edition goes to Branko Lustig.

Sarajevo hosts the biggest regional Hip Hop and Bboy Dance competition “Street Dance Challenge 2012” on June 30, 2012 at 8:30 p.m. at the BBI Shopping Mall Plateau. Competitors from France, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be competing in Bboy Battle 2 vs 2; Hip hop Battle 2 vs 2, and the best choreography team competition.

Beton Fest Sarajevo 2012 – 3D Street Drawing takes place from 21 to 24 June 2012 at several locations in Sarajevo. This event (based on the world famous Street Paint Festival) arrives to Sarajevo for the first time to visually transform Sarajevo’s streets.

Dar Foundation (Gift) organizes the Handicrafts Bazaar at the Kolobara Han outdoor café on 9th and 10th of June 2012. The bazaar will feature over 30 craftsmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Entry is free of charge available from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
07.06.2012 - Avaz Tower Running 2012
Avaz Tower Running Race takes place on Saturday, June 9, 2012. With 780 steps and finishing line at the 36th floor, the event is enlisted among 160 races. In addition to the race, the event will include cultural entertainment program and visit by Michael Reichetzeder, President of the Towerrunning which organizes the Towerrunning World Cup.
07.06.2012 - Kid's Festival
Kid’s Parade starting from Sebilj Fountain in the old town on Friday, June 8th, 2012 opens the 9th Kid’s Festival. The festival’s program as in previous years includes various workshops for children, entertainment and fun events, films, theatre plays and educational events. The Tourism Association of Canton Sarajevo hosts the Cultural and Historical Heritage of Sarajevo Workshop.

Association for Promotion of Sports Tourism “Ekstremna relaksacija” based in Sarajevo organizes the XTR Open Air Days 2012 from 8 to 10 June 2012 at the Rajlovac Military Airport. It is an ultra-light aircrafts presentation, and visitors can fly with an expert in one of the aircrafts according to their choice. Entry fee is 5 KM, flying prices depend on the type of an aircraft.

Traditional Cultural and Sports Manifestation "Novogradski dani" takes place from 30 May to 30 June at several venues in the Novi Grad Municipality in Sarajevo. The manifestation includes concerts, theatre plays, exhibitions and numerous other cultural events.

2nd Sarajevo Sevdah Fest will be held from 1 to 7 June 2012 at the Bosnian Cultural Centre. Accompanying events will take place at the Art Kuca Sevdaha, whereas the music workshops will be held at Pivnica (Sarajevo Brewery).
31.05.2012 - Croatian Film Days
Croatian Film Days take place from 2 to 6 June 2012 in Sarajevo at the Meeting Point Cinema. The event is organized by the Association for the Promotion of Culture and Art “Ja bih…” from Zagreb in collaboration with the Croatian Cultural Society “Napredak”. In addition to film screenings the event will include rock concerts and poster exhibition. Entry to all events is free of charge.
21.05.2012 - Days of Sarajevo in Belgrade
The Festival „Days of Sarajevo“ will be held from 22 to 26 May 2012 in Belgrade. The festival hosted by the Human Rights Youth Initiative, held since 2007, aims at connecting the two cities and young people through theatre, music, exhibitions and other cultural events. The festival opens with Nedzad Mulaomerovic's exhibition „Sarajevska Vijecnica jos jednom“ (Sarajevo City Hall Revisited) will all income raised by the exhibition being put into the reconstruction of the City Hall.

Enjoy Sarajevo biking tour to Trebevic Mt. organized by the Association of Mountain Biking in collaboration with the City of Sarajevo takes place on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Sarajevo Nights of Music (SVEM) take place from 8 to 12 May 2012. The event was first held in 1972 and hasn’t been held since 1990. The 18th edition, now held after 22 years, aims at becoming one of the most popular regional festivals. The festival will feature performances of Music Academy students, Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, National Theatre Opera Choir, Aida Corbadzic (Sarajevo), Ljubomir Puskaric (Zagreb), Sabina Cvilak (Ljubljana), Zoran Todorovic (Belgrade), Slovenian Symphonic Orchestra of the Slovenian Radio and Television Broadcaster, Edin Karamazov and the Cracow Philharmonic Quartet.

Traditional exhibition „Old Crafts Preserved Through Centuries“ takes place at the Brusa-bezistan Museum from 3 to 7 May 2012. The event is organized by the Museum of Sarajevo and the Stari zanati Association (Association of Traditional Craftsmen). The exhibition features display of old dish, costumes and hats, brushes, shoes, slippers, and products made in various material (wood, leather, copper, etc).

Modern Parachuting Club hosts the International Exhibition Jumps „Base Jump“ on 5 and 6 May 2012 at the Skakavac Waterfall. The event is held on occasion of the European Day (within the project From Sarajevo to Europe through Modern Sports“) and the 10th anniversary of the Natural Monument “Skakavac Waterfall”.

The 5th Gastro, Eco and Music Festival “Sarajlicious 2012” takes place from 19 to 22 April 2012 at the Trg oslobodjenja - Alija Izetbegovic Square. The Festival under the motto “Food & Sevdah Music” features numerous educational, tourist, cultural, entertainment and gastro events. The festival features numerous performers: from African-American dancers to stand-up comedians to expert local spellers – the Festival of U.S. Culture features a wide range of cultural offerings that showcase both the diversity of the United States and also the talents of artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

14th International Book and Teaching Appliances Fair takes place from 18 – 23 April 2012 at Skenderija Centre. 13.04.2012 - Street Race Vivicitta
Sports Association of Canton Sarajevo hosts the 18th International Street Race Vivicitta 2012 on Sunday, April 18th, 2012. The event will gather over 2000 participants. The circle race starts at the BBI Shopping Mall and runs through Musala Street – Obala – Vijecnica (Town Hall), Mula Mustafa Baseskija and Titova Street.

Drugi ugao Association hosts the 1st STRIPiti Fest – Festival of the Ninth Art from 12 to 15 April in Sarajevo. The festival will present works from the 5th exhibition of strip authors. The Call to submit strips for the exhibition with the theme „The Life I Live“ was open until April 1st, 2012.
04.04.2012 - Museum of Sarajevo Siege: Art of Living 1992-1996
Hasthana Park, a site planned for the Museum construction, hosts the presentation of the project “Museum of the Sarajevo Siege: Art of Living 1992 – 1996 – FAMA Collection”. This unique visual event will be presented on Thursday, April 5th, 2012. The presentation is organized by the FAMA International Project Team, MESS Festival, Youth Initiative for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Education Builds Bosnia and Herzegovina Association (Obrazovanje gradi BiH Association).

The Sarajevo Red Line organized by the City of Sarajevo in collaboration with the East West Theatre Company is the main event of this year's City of Sarajevo Day. The event represents a drama and poem performance dedicated to citizens killed during the Siege of Sarajevo. The program features art, urban and theatre performances, installations, operas, concerts, as well as the Denmark Film Week, Japanese Film Week and the Visegrád Group Film Week (Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Poland and Hungary).
